Highlights from ADC Meeting

The Annual Delegates Conference was held on Saturday,
September 18th at the Kshatriya Hall in Lautoka. The meeting was
overseen by President Jokapeci Koroi and the FLP Management Board.
Several matters were discussed including developments of the previous year, party finances,
as well as planning for the upcoming year. Over 200 people attended
the days proceedings. Branch delegates, MP’s
and Party executives from 20 constituency Branches around the country were
in attendance.
The meeting
addressed all key issues concerning national governance, including the
current multi-party cabinet impasse.
FLP
secretary general and parliamentary leader Mahendra Chaudhry presented the
2004
Activities Report of the Party, which provides comprehensive
coverage of all parliamentary and party activities. An audited financial
report for 2003/04 was presented by Party treasurer, Agni Deo Singh.

the formal business the conference convened into six workshops to discuss
and formulate draft policy statements on issues of concern:
