Chiefs ask for forgiveness

As part of the events for National Reconciliation Week (Oct. 4-11) a contingent of chiefs led by Tui Cakau and Minister for Lands, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, presented 20 tabua to the President, Ratu Josefa Iloilo.  The presentation was part of the matanigasau (traditional ceremony seeking forgiveness).
