Update on flight cancellations

Altogether 24 Fiji flights have been cancelled in the past two months as a result of poor load factor, according to the latest data available from airport sources.

This includes six cancellations by V Australia and not the 17 reported in our last posting. The error is regretted.

Of the other airlines, Pacific Blue cancelled 6 return flights between Nadi and Adelaide – three in February and three in March.

Air Zealand had 8 cancellations altogether on its Nadi-Auckland-Nadi flights, two in February and six in March.

Air Pacific had four cancellations- two in February to Tarawa and Tonga and in March it cancelled one Nadi-Auckland-Nadi and one Nadi-Melbourne-Nadi flight.
